Tail Block

Need to shape this block for the tail and partly hollow out so that the rudder linkage doesn't foul.

Finally finished the planking at the tail. Let the sanding commence!

Probably going for something like this.

Starting boxing in the rear

Starting to box in the back at last. Thread lock on all hidden push rods etc... will probably fit the tail tomorrow.😁

Servos in!

The rear of the Zero still needs planking but I can't do this until the controls for the rudder and elevator have been installed. Tonight I have installed the two large servos for these control surfaces. These servos will move the 6mm diameter carbon push rods which need connecting up before the planking can continue.

Rudder control horn

Rudder and rear wheel control horn ready to be welded.
